CNBC & Schwab On NVIDIA Stock, Micron Stock, OpenAI News - NVDA Update Hosts of CNBC and Schwab Network discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), Micron, Micron stock (MU stock), and OpenAI news. This comes after the FT published a story on Thursday, saying tha OpenAI's ARR was $20B less than previously signaled. (As mentioned in Thursday night's video, it appears that some people confused gross revenue with net revenue). In related news, Bloomberg reported that OpenAI expects to reach $70B or more in annualized revenue by the end of 2026. It's also been reported that NVIDIA-backed Firmus Technologies has shelved its $5B IPO in Australia and will opt for a private fundraising round. This appears to be a situation of a company pursuing a valuation that was too rich, and institutional investors pushing back, rather than a signal of waning demand in the broader AI ecosystem. In other news, Lumentum's CEO said that the company's optical components are completely sold out through early 2029. That bodes well for the duration of the AI buildout. We also got important Micron news on Friday. In an SEC filing, Micron revealed that it increased the share repurchase authorization by $33B, bringing the total up to $35.16B. Interestingly, Micron reported Q4 FY26 adjusted FCF of ~$33B in the company's most-recent earnings report, and said on the earnings call that they intend to return 100% of excess cash to shareholders. Micron appears to be delivering on what they promised. We also got some news from SK Group's Chairman about strong demand and SK Hynix accelerating their expansion plans amid strong memory demand. Looking ahead, Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver a GTC keynote at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026. I continue to be bullish on NVIDIA long-term. NVIDIA has multiple large long-term growth opportunities in front of it. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra has ramped quickly and remains in high demand. Vera Rubin is rolling out to customers. NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX is in full production. We're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027. And later on, we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout annually by the end of the decade.
