About this video

CNBC, Bloomberg, Yahoo & Schwab Today On NVIDIA Stock, Micron Stock, OpenAI News - NVDA Update Hosts of CNBC, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, and Schwab Network discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), Micron, Micron stock (MU stock), and OpenAI news. On Thursday, the Financial Times published a story saying that OpenAI's ARR was actually closer to $50B rather than the ~$68B figure that had been reported in late September. There appears to have been confusion regarding gross revenue and net revenue. That's it. The gross revenue figure of ~$68B included partner revenue in order to make the figure more of an "apples to apples" comparison to Anthropic's ARR figure, which does include partner revenue. Nevertheless, the fundamental situation has not changed. Many market participants simply discovered the difference between gross revenue and net revenue, resulting in AI stocks trading lower Thursday afternoon. In other news, TSMC released its September Revenue Report Thursday, showing revenue down 0.6% MoM and up 54.6% YoY. (MoM declines in revenue are normal for TSMC and nothing to be concerned about; what matters is that the overall trend remains intact). Some tech traders were nervous Thursday after Wednesday evening reports indicated that NVIDIA-backed Firmus Technologies' IPO pricing was reduced by ~25% in Australia. In other news, Taiwan exports were up 60.9% MoM in September versus ~45.6% expected. That is postive for NVIDAI and the entire AI ecosystem. We will likely hear Micron's response to the Taiwan labor union strike authorization vote soon (a Micron board meeting was scheduled for Thursday and Friday of this week). At the moment, a strike has not been declared as everyone awaits Micron's response. Looking ahead, Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver a GTC keynote at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026. I continue to be bullish on NVIDIA long-term. NVIDIA has multiple large long-term growth opportunities in front of it. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra has ramped quickly and remains in high demand. Vera Rubin is rolling out to customers. NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX is in full production. We're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027. And later on, we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout annually by the end of the decade.
